Tick Tick Tick ! The clock was ticking very much slow. .
It was just 9.40 !! duh !!

So i drifted my concentration to the small and sweet encounter i felt in the morn and started blushing and smiling slightly. .
Seriously. . People over there would have thought I'm insane. . To smile when you have a sword hanging over your head. . i mean the Interview!!
I was called in by the manager . . correctly at 10. . How punctual !! :/ i thought !!

I went over to the door. . Took a deep breathe and knocked the door softly. .
I heard " Come in" from inside. .

I opened the door with a smile and greeted the manager "Good morning Sir"

I saw a man of forties infront of me. . Dressed formally in his coat and tie. .

I gave my file to him with a smile. .
He told me to sit down. . I did as he told. . i sat down. . Now my nervousness was paying off. . i was getting so nervous. . as he was going through my files. .with creased eyebrows. . i started to take off my nail polish of one hand with the nails of other hands. .

He: So Ms. Poorvi, What is your specialization?
Me: Sir, My Specialization is in finance. . But i would like to specialize in HR too. .
He: Oh. . But don't you think you will be over qualified?
Me: No sir, I strongly disagree. . Specializing in a new skill is like adding a feather to your hat. .its like it will enable to you to work in both the conditions. . It won't be an obstruction to your work. .
He: Impressive answer Ms. Poorvi, But you are a fresher. . with 6 months of internship in Mutli corps co. Do you think if we appoint you as a management trainee you will be able to get a permanent job in our organisation?
Me: Sir, That depends on your perspective. .**smiling**
He: Good Good !!! Ms. Poorvi. . You get the job. . **Smiling** I'll forward your resume to your Boss. . He will get back to as soon as he get back from an important meeting. . You will get your appointment letter soon. . and we will have the discussion about you pay on this coming Thursday at 10 am sharp here. . Thank you !!

***I WAS DREAMING*** surely i was. . i mean what?? is that it ?? I mean guess i was being nervous for no reason. . but anyways i think i wasn't that much nervous. . all thanks to him. .**blush**

I got up Thanking him. . and left from there. .

As i reached the main entrance of the office door. . i was dialing Pritvi's No.
But surprisingly i saw someone standing near the entrance parking area. . i saw him standing there leaning towards his car. .

I was smiling. . Life can seriously be nice to you at times. . He came to pick me up. . WOW!!
I went straight upto him and excitedly i told the good news to him. .
He in his excitement. . Just hugged me over there. . Blush !! I couldn't even push him off. . i mean i didn't want to push him off. . I was on cloud 9. .

He: I'm so damn happy for you. .
Me: Ya. . i'm on cloud 9 now. . **Still hugging him**
He: I think we should stop this for now. . I can see people staring at us. .

Oh Shit !! i just left him. . looking down. . blushing and embarrassed together. .

Then we left from there. .
In the car. .

He: I'll leave you at home. .
Me: You don't want treat from me. . Shocking !! Or else you will be the first person to ask me for one. . **wondering**
He: Nah. . Anyways today i did get a big treat from you. .
Me: What's that?
He: You !! buddhu **winking**
Me: ***blushhh*** Well. . fine. . **looking down**
He: You might be very tired today. . So i thought i would be better if i allow you to take some rest . . **Smiling**
Me: Theek hain. .**smiling**

He left me near the house gate. .**Obviously nobody wants to get caught by their lover's parents**

I waved him bye and ran into my house to give my mom the biggest happiest news ever. .

Me: Mommmmmmmm!! mommmyyy !! mommy dearr !! Mummmm. .
She: Haan haan I'm here only. . What happened ?? You got the job ??
**She was seriously one Psychic Man!!**
Me: Yaaaaaa !! I got the job. . eeeee!!!
She: aww !! that's gud beta!! **hugging and kissing me** May god always bless you. . Ah! wait i'll call up your dad and say the happy news!!
Me: ya sure. . tab tak i'll get freshened up. .

At the night. . Mom made a big feast as i got my job. . we both enjoyed it. .

I kissed her goodnight and went into my room. .
I lied down on the bed. . and my mind diverted towards 5 years back again. . Starting of my new life. . MY COLLEGE LIFE !!

Ch2-A Look Behind

Life can be surely nice to you at times. . That all the happiness you felt that time could even make you feel you haven't felt anything like that in last many days, I thought as my eyes drifted between the cars outside and his smiling face with twinkling eyes looking at the same time I look at him. .

He: So when is your interview?**smiling**
Me: ah !! **Dreaming** Uhm!! Hmm!! **I was seriously dreaming and staring so awkwardly at his cute face**
He: Yaa?? **wondering**
Me: Oh bloody hell!! **as i watched the time :/** I'm gonna be late for my interview. . its 8 o'clock already :O . . i got to reach there by 10 :/
He: Hey chill chill. . Hum hain toh kya ghum hain :P Ill get you to the office soon :P
Me: huh? **Blushing and looking down** yeah right :">
He: So What are your plans after the interview?
Me: Well. . . Hmm. . **dreaming about going out with him, but somehow blocks the thoughts :/** Nothing. . Got to go and get few books to read. . its been long since i read one good book!!
He: Oh Cool !! Then we can out together !! ;)
Me: AH! No no! i can manage alone!! **blushing. . how come he read my thoughts**
He: Why? Feeling awkward to go out with me just because our relationship status has changed? :-?
Me: Oh ! No ! Not at all ! I'm just scared. .
He: Scared??
Me: I'm just scared thinking this is a dream. . I hope it doesn't break off when i wake up. . **I was feeling a lump in my throat**

He slowed the car and parked to side of a road. .
He caught my face with his both hands and was looking with his anxious eyes. .
Only when he wiped my cheeks with his thumbs i realised i was crying. .

He: Hey what happened poorvi?
Me: Nothing yaar. . just because i happened to go through all that heartbreak before. . I lost belief in my life. .and anything good that comes through it. . i'm just being a big pessimistic girl. . **trying to look somewhere else**
He: Hey hey. .please yaar. .No, you are not being pessimistic. . I can understand what you have went through in those years. . I can even feel the pain you went through. . But i promise you. . I won't let that happen with you again. .

I just kept smiling and thanking my fate for allowing me to enjoy this sweet moment. .

He: Now come on! Wipe your tears. . You wouldn't let your future boss to think your boyfriend made to cry right?? **winking** And you look so awful when you cry!!
Me: hawwww **took my hand to hit him but he caught and kissed it . . and came near to kiss me. . he came closer and closer. . i was starting to get conscious. . But he just pecked on my forehead**
He: **Winking** If you are already out of blushing and all. .can we leave??
Me: **Getting conscious** Ya ya. . Come on! leave now. . or else i will get late. . **HUH!!!**
With a huge smile. . he started the car and we left. .

As the car was heading to one of my destinations. .
My thoughts drifted to my past life. . 5 years back!!
I just keep wondering. . How my life has carried me through the most dreadful problems to this wonderful life of mine. . at some point I'm not able to believe whether this is true. . or it is just one of my wild dreams. . This is only because you went through the worst of the heartbreaks. . you start disbelieving guys and even anything good that comes in your life. .

I still remember that one cold night. . When I was waiting for his call. . because he didn't call me the whole day. . i was worried. . when i tried calling. . he didn't pick up. . I got frustrated. .
At the end i called up to his landline number. . He picked up. .

He: Hm ? Hello ? **talked in the most indifferent cold voice**
Me: Aditya. . thank god you picked up. . Donno from when i'm trying your mobile. . Where are you now?
He: Poorvi listen. . I'm right now not in the mood to talk with you. . i'll call you later. .bye!
Me: Hey Hey wait. . What happened?? Anything serious??
He: Didn't I tell you. . i'll talk to you later. . can't you understand what i'm telling?
Me: Ah ! You don't have to sound rude. . I just called you because i was tensed. . Well you won't understand how much tensed i get. . you just need me as your stressbuster. . Now Bye! Huh! Do whatever you want to do!!

BEEP BEEP BEEP!!
I cut the call :/
Now what the hell was problem with him. .i thought!

After 10mins!
My mobile beeped with a msg. .
Phew! it was from him. . I checked out. .
it said. . "I never thought you'll act in such a kiddish way. . You can never be my life partner. . You don't even deserve a bit of love from my side. . I break off with you now!!"
Haw ! What the hell is happening. .
I called him the next second. .
Me: Now what's this you sent me!
He: Can't you understand english?! Ya, I break off with you and now get over with it . .
Me: But i love you. . You can just force your decision upon me! I want to know the reason behind this. .
He: You aint fit for me. . Now get over with it. . Bye !

BEEP BEEP BEEP!!
It just happened so fast. . I didn't have the time to react ! Not even a second !
His last words kept clinging to my mind!

His piercing words made me wince and i shut my eyes as to take away the thought from my mind. .

Pritvi saw me suddenly. .
I just looked at him and smiled. . He returned back the smile. .
But anyways I was happy. . I somehow regained back everything i lost at one point of my life. .

Then suddenly the car stopped!

I looked out. . I reached the office. . It was 9.30 a.m. He reached me in correct time. .
Me: Thanks yaar. . Atleast you reached me in time!
He: Oye! Thanks is not enough. . I want something other than that. . **Winking**
Me: HUH!! **Looking confused**
He: Dogi na ??? **coming closer**

Now i was seriously getting all red with blush. . He came near and kissed on my cheek and whispered on my ears "Good luck" and winked when he leaned back. .

I was still enjoying the kiss with my eyes closed. . Then i realised i was getting late :/
I opened the door and was getting all my bags and files. .
When i got down. .He caught my hand . .
I was like leave leave. . He was like One more one more! **Talks through expressions**

I somehow made him leave my hands and ran inside. .
While i was heading inside i turned to see him waiting for me to go inside. . He put his hand outside. . made a thumps up sign and waved and left the office. .

I came inside the office with a full smile on my face. .
"This is surely a good day" i thought !
And went straight to my interview venue!

Ch1-A New Dawn

. . . Morning was surely blissful when i woke up. . Ahh!!
OMG! i had an interview to attend :/ it was almost 7 a.m.
and how stupid of me. . i was enjoying my morning :/
I better get ready soon, i thought as the interview was scheduled at 10 a.m.
So I got as fast as i could to get ready and just run out of the house !!

When i reached my breakfast table. . My food was already ready. .Hot steam coming from it =D Aloo ka Parantha =D Oh i just love my mom =P
**No No ! Come back . .Now don't go into ur dreamland again**
I was Stuffing the tasty paranthas into my mouth :/
**No time to enjoy**
Then Ma came from the kitchen and was shocked seeing me eating so badly :/

Ma: Easy easy !! Paranthas are not going to run away anywhere!!
Me: Ma :| I'm late for my interview. . The place is quite far. . No time to sit, enjoy and eat :(
Ma: Arey toh pack some and take. . eat after your interview is over :) this is not the way to eat your food. . you'll end up having some gastric problem :|
Me: Haan haan !! pack some for me :* . . okie okie. .now m leaving. . or else i'll get late. .
Ma: Haan wait ek min!! Ill get something for u!!
I waited. . She got me the paranthas in a box. . and also something like white substance in a bowl. .
Ahhh !! Dhai aur shakkar =D **Its meant to bring Good luck :)**
She gave some. i had it. . touched her feet. . hugged her and left my house. .

The sun was surely shining brightly over my head =D Good day, i thought!
I reached the bus stop. . and started waiting for the bus to come. .
Then my mobile started ringing. .
**Whose it?? :-?**
Ahhh. . Why is he calling me now??
Okie now chill and take the call :|

Me: Ya?
Him: Hello Poorvi. .Where are you now?
Me: I'm at the bus stop now. .
Him: at the bus stop? Why ? where are you going ?
**He sounded very anxious**
Me: Ah ! Pritvi. .Don't get so anxious. .I told you yesterday. .Remember? I have an important interview to attend. . Don't worry i ain't going to run off to the south pole =P
Him: Okie wait for 10 mins. .I'm coming over there. .Which bus stop?
Me: At JV street. . Why ?
Him: Question and answer session later. Will meet you in few mins. .
BEEP BEEP BEEP!!
**Ah he cut the call. .so soon. .Hmm lets see what happened to him**

20mins later. .
I got frustrated. .Obvi man! i have an interview to attend. .and damn! Im so stupid to wait here for the most unpunctual guy in this world. .

At last i saw a red swift car parking a little far from the bus stop. .
There he got down. .
the man of my dreams. . wearing an off-white shirt. .his sleeves folded up. . and blue jeans :)
Ah!! Truly mesmerizing scene to watch!
Hey. .wasn't i supposed to get angry at him for being late :/ ?

He was walking towards me. .with his hand tied behind. .
I was just standing there at the bus stop. .pretending to be angry at him ;)

Then he suddenly he did something which he wasn't suppose to do. .I mean not atleast in public yaar :O

He serenaded on his knees. . catching a bouquet of roses. . a bright smile on his face. .

I turned totally red. . more of embarrassment than blushing. . What was he doing?
All my anger washed off in a split second. .

He held out the roses to me and told. .
He: Poorvi. .I know this is a little bit of embarrassing. .But i don't care what people think about what i'm doing right now!! The Only thing that matters to me now is YOU. . Ever since i met you. . i fell for you. . and deep from my heart I'm admitting infront of you. .That I love you. . Please. . I promise i won't put crafty promises like others do. . But will make sure that You always be happy. .and provide you with all the love and care you always deserved. . So Poorvi. . Will you marry me? :)

**Woo Woo Woo !! Now that's a suprise :/ Oh No! I don't How to react. .I'm Blushing. .No no. .I'm anxious. . No no. . I'm Tensed. .
Urgh!!SHUT UP!! Lemme think. .Hmm. .
Ya it's very true i even love him. . and it is like a dream come true like he loves me too. . but why am i being so tensed for no reason. .wasn't i suppose to blush and take the rose from him and say "YES" :/
Well Whatever is it. .they say you should love the person who loves you. . and he is doing so much for me. . he had been the only person who was there with me when i went through all that problems n tensions. . he stood beside me for even the worst time i faced. . and I don't doubt him for cheating me. . So that's probably Green signal from my heart. . Eeee!! :"> Go ahead. .Say yes!!**

Now everybody at the road. . and mostly Pritvi was staring at my blank absent minded face. . His expression told he was about to break in any moment. .Oh shit !! i need to talk now !!

Me: Pritvi !! **Looking down. .as i was blushing :">**
You told everything what i was craving to tell you. . I didn't tell you because. . i thought myself to be imperfect for you. . As you are really a gem of a person. .And i was sure you would get a better girl than me. . But at the same time i'm even more happy. . as you made me rethink that idea of mine :)
He: Does that mean a yes??
**Now he was irritating me :x**
Me: No !! Im giving you a lecture on finding a better girl than me!! **Rolling eyes**
**He swings his head down in defeat**
Of course I love you. . Idiot :x
Is it like i should explain each and everything to you. .cant you just make out from my words?
He: You talk too much of philosophy :/ which just flies off over my head without entering my ears :/
Me: he he :P Very funny :P Now get up :/ Don't embarrass me more :/

He got up and the bouquet to me. .I took the flowers from him and started smelling and touching it like a small girl. . he was enjoying my happy feeling. .
Every other people around us left happily with a smile. .as they witnessed a true proposal scene. .which can be only seen in movies or even heard in stories :)

Poorvi, A girl of 23. .Finished with her MBA, she is happy in her life. .
Fully content. . Out of her old problems and issues she faced. .
and is ready to take up a new road to her new life. .
Dreamer by nature. .She loves to fantasize alot :P
but life can't be always the same and even how you wished for right?
It has its own way of treating you with miracles. .shocks and suprises. .

So here I'm to tell the story. .In Poorvi's way =)
